Biography:
Justin's research focuses on the teaching, learning, and practical application of leadership. His scholarship explores experiential leadership education, leadership pedagogy, and how learners translate leadership theory into practice. His recent work includes research on experiential teaching methods, student learning through service-learning, alternative approaches to grading and assessment, and the evaluation of leadership development programs in educational and organizational settings.

Outside of FHSU, Justin enjoys playing wallyball, spending time with friends and family, volunteering, playing tennis, and being involved in the community. Much of his free time is spent with his wife, Pam, and their four children, Alexander, Elena, Andrew, and Anthony. Justin is originally from Greensburg, Kansas.
