Biography:
Tamas has over 20 years of experience working in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. He has made significant contributions to the democratization of Hungary by holding key public policy roles, including serving as an advisor to the Minister of Education and as an advisor for Organizational Development at the Ministry of Economy and Transport. He introduced adaptive leadership and the case-in-point method in Hungary, adapting the Harvard approach to teaching leadership for the Hungarian education context. Most recently, he worked with the Kansas Leadership Center's Third Floor Research and served as the Case Manager for a $1.5 million federal grant with the the UFM Community Learning Center. Tamas's firsthand experience with authoritarianism has fueled his passion for examining the balance between authority and leadership. He holds a Ph.D. from Kansas State University and an M.P.A. from Harvard University. Tamas's wife is Ukrainian, and they have four children.
