Student Organizations
Fringe Theater
Interested in theater? The Fringe Theater group performs peer education programs for area schools and provides you a chance to delve deeper into the world of acting, writing and directing shows. Performing five major shows a year as well as various showcases and side projects, you'll have ample opportunity to put your passion for theater into action from your freshman year forward on. For more information, contact the Fringe Theater's faculty advisor, Ms. Tomme Lynne Williams (785) 628-4449.

Music Ensembles
While not a student organization, be sure not to miss the many ensemble opportunities you can take advantage-even as a freshman-of to hone your musicianship and gain performance experience.

Sigma Alpha Iota

Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI), a national women's music service fraternity, is open to all music students. Female students who enjoy the camaraderie of the Music Department will fit right in with the members of SAI. SAI members volunteer and host different activities that celebrate music. There is a Sigma Alpha Iota alumni chapter open to all local residents who were student members of Sigma Alpha Iota. For more information, contact Mr. Ben Cline or visit the organization's official site.

Spectrum Concert Series
Spectrum is a concert series of original solo and small chamber music compositions by FHSU students produced each semester in the Department of Music and Theatre. Concerts are presented in Palmer Recital Hall.
