2026 High Plains Marching Festival
The date of the 2026 High Plains Marching Festival is Monday October 21st. Band performances will start at 11:00am at Lewis Field Stadium at Fort Hays State University.
Bands will be adjudicated on music, general effect, auxiliary, marching/maneuvering, and percussion. All bands will receive a plaque with their final overall rating. Bands may also perform for judges' comments only or attend as observers. All bands participating on the field will be recognized in the awards ceremony at the end of the festival.

Please submit your application no later than Monday October 6. Mail entry fees payable to FHSU Department of Music and Theatre to:
