Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) Grant - Fall Semester
Grant funds are intended to support best practices and to encourage faculty to work with undergraduate students on research activities that ultimately lead to publication or public presentation.

Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar - Spring Semester
This prestigious award recognizes undergraduate students who exemplify scholarly activity through original thought, creativity, critical reasoning, analysis of research, translation of evidence into practice, and first-hand knowledge of how work is performed within a professional discipline Awardees receive a recognition medal and a certificate.

Lynn Haggard Undergraduate Library Research Award - Spring Semester
This annual award recognizes excellence in undergraduate research that incorporates the use of Forsyth Library resources and demonstrates sophisticated information literacy skills. Research projects must be completed in conjunction with a course, an undergraduate research experience, or other scholarly activity. Eligible projects include but are not limited to:
- Design portfolios
- Compositions
- Posters
- Film/videos
- Research papers
- Digital projects
The winner receives a $500 cash award and has their work featured in the FHSU Scholars Repository. Additional details about the award are located on the Lynn Haggard Undergraduate Library Research Award website.
Kansas Idea Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (K-INBRE)
The purpose of K-INBRE is to strengthen the ability of Kansas researchers to compete for funds by developing investigators supported with cutting edge technology in scientific research. The program supports expanded biomedical research experiences for undergraduate students by providing funding opportunities for a variety of projects.
