University Exchange Partners
Fort Hays State offers students the opportunity to study abroad at one of our student Exchange Partners. These partnerships offer students a traditional study abroad experience including second language learning, cultural immersion, and academic coursework. FHSU Student participants must have a 2.75 minimum GPA and be in good academic standing. Three recommendations are required with each student’s nomination form. All participants must complete a Program Interest Profile form on Tiger Link, provide a copy of an unofficial transcript, and undergo an interview with the FHSU Study Abroad Coordinator. All interviews and nominations must be completed by the term deadlines. Contact the Study Abroad office for more information.
One unique study abroad program offered at FHSU is our China Summer Camp hosted by our partner university, Zhengzhou SIAS University, located in Xinzheng City, Henan Province, China. This summer camp is a scholarship program offered to undergraduates only during the month of July. Our selection committee will choose three qualified students to attend each summer. Students enjoy learning Mandarin Chinese as well as Chinese culture and history. Extended travel throughout China is also offered.
