Community Engagement Rubric
This rubric is designed for institutions to assess key components of community engagement at the institutional level. The rubric includes five dimensions each with specific components to rate.
The five dimensions include:
- Philosophy and mission of community engagement
- Faculty/staff support for and involvement in community engagement
- Student support for and involvement in community engagement
- Community participation and partnerships
- Institutional support for community engagement
FHSU uses this rubric to support and measure its progress in strengthening community engagement across campus. The rubric aligns with the requirements of the Community Engagement Carnegie Classification and helps guide work between application cycles.
