CLE Institutional Alignment Chart
This institutional alignment chart illustrates how CLE has developed our mission and the framework through which it guides our work. FHSU is a regional comprehensive university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. In addition to this accreditation, the Carnegie Foundation has designated FHSU with the elective classifications of Community Engagement and Leadership for Public Purpose. FHSU collaborates closely with these organizations to maintain strong standing as a regional comprehensive university and develops its strategic plan in alignment with their standards.
The components of FHSU’s strategic plan, the academic affairs' priorities, and the definition of student success collectively inform the mission and work of CLE. Within this structure, CLE contributes to the achievement of key institutional goals, thereby supporting the university’s continued fulfillment of accreditation standards and classification distinctions.
Together, these aligned efforts ensure that CLE’s work remains intentional, mission-driven, and integrally connected to the broader institutional priorities of FHSU.
