Hardship Discount
Health and Wellness Services offers eligible students a discounted fee schedule for professional medical services, medications, and diagnostic testing. We also offer additional discounts to students who cannot afford healthcare services because of their unique circumstances.
If you are unable to afford the medical services offered through our office:
- Contact our office and indicate that you would like to apply for a hardship discount.
- A Health and Wellness Services committee will review your completed application and determine the discount.
- The discount may be applied retroactively to any unpaid service, and proactively to services rendered through the end of the current academic year.
- No refunds for previously paid services will be made.
- Discounts will not be applied to amounts already turned over to a collection agency.
- Professional services may be discounted or waived depending on your situation.
- Discounts may be applied to purchased goods and services such as medications and lab services, but the discount will not be less than Health and Wellness Services' cost of the purchased good or service.
