KAMS Application
Kansas Students:
- Complete the KAMS Application FORM
- Complete and submit the KAMS APPLICATION PACKET
- 10th Grade Applicants: Suggested application deadline of April 1.
- Early admission option for 9th graders.
- Students must submit all sections of the application packet to be reviewed for admission.
International & Out-of-State Students:

ADMISSION INFORMATION
Admission to KAMS is evaluated with a holistic view. We are looking for the best and brightest students who are academically talented, mature, motivated, and are ready for a challenge. Please access the downloadable application packet linked above to complete your KAMS admission application!
Admission Requirements
- Must have completed through the 10th grade of high school before attending.
- Successfully complete high school Algebra II & Geometry before attending.
- Achieve a score of a 23 ACT composite or 1150 SAT composite.

- Cumulative GPA
- Grades in relevant coursework
- Class rank
- ACT/SAT subsection scores
- Student essay & short answers
- Teacher, counselor, and mentor evaluations
- Leadership qualities & involvement
- Maturity & motivation
HOW TO PREPARE FOR KAMS
- Make plans with your school to complete Algebra II & Geometry before the end of your 10th grade year (required).
- Take an ACT or SAT exam during the fall of your 10th grade year or earlier (required).
- Try to complete additional math & science courses, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Pre-Calculus, or Trigonometry at your high school to better prepare for the KAMS curriculum (suggested, not required).
- Complete your high school's specific credits for graduation before attending KAMS, such as physical education, history, or foreign language.
- Visit campus or attend a KAMS event.
