Science and Mathematics Education Institute
The Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI) developed from a strong desire to improve and embrace the education of science and mathematics in Western Kansas. By bringing together an extensive network of educators and pedagogy enthusiastic, SMEI hopes to strengthen the comprehension of these necessary skills in not only kindergarten through 12th grade and college students, but also the surrounding community.
