Informatics Open House
The Fort Hays State University Admissions Office and the Department of Informatics are hosting an Open House on campus on Monday, March 31st, from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.
The event is FREE, will include lunch, and is open to high school and transfer students interested in careers in Informatics.
Explore Informatics programs in the following concentrations:
- Computer Networking and Telecommunications
- Cybersecurity
- Digital Media Production and Journalism
- Health Informatics
- Information Systems
- Web and Mobile Application Development
- Information Networking and Telecommunications
- Management Information Systems
Students will:
- Learn about academic, career, and other unique educational opportunities with the programs.
- Speak with faculty, staff, and students in each program.
- Have an opportunity to win scholarships.
- Visit with representatives of the Admissions Office to learn more about FHSU.

9:30 – 10:15 am - Session 1
10:30 – 11:30 am - Guest Q&A | Scholarship Drawings
11:30 – 1:00 pm - Lunch & Learn
1:00 – 1:45 pm - Session 2
2:00 – 2:45 pm - Session 3
🅿️ Parking passes are NOT required for the day.📍We encourage buses to drop off students at Hammond Hall and park at Gross Memorial Coliseum. View our virtual map or download a campus map to help you find your way.
Groups are welcome! To enhance your experience, please have each attendee complete the sign-up form. We ask that everyone selects "0 guests," we kindly request that sponsors designate one student to indicate the number of sponsors or teachers attending with your group.
