Five students compete at ESU Math Day

Five Academy of Mathematics & Science (AMS) students traveled to Emporia State University in Emporia, KS to compete in the college's annual Math Day. Students compete individually and as a team in Algebra & Geometry competitions. Great job to our students and teams!
RESULTS:
Individual Geometry (4A, 5A, 6A): 2nd place-Yuxuan "Marsh" Ma (China), 5th place-Haofeng "Ace" Xu (China)
Individual Algebra (4A, 5A, 6A): 2nd place-Eugene Chon (South Korea), 4th place-Peihong Shi (China)
Team Geometry (4A, 5A, 6A): 3rd place-Haofeng "Ace" Xu, Yuxuan "Marsh" Ma, Qiyang "Kevin" Liu (China)
