Apply to a Living Learning Community
Ready to find your people and build your purpose at FHSU? Applying to a Living Learning Community is easy, and it's one of the best ways to begin your college journey with a sense of connection, support, and success.
How to Apply:
- Submit your Housing Application
- Go to Workday > myFHSU > Resources > Residential Life
- Select the Learning Community preference while completing your Housing Application
- Rank Your Preferences
- Choose up to three Learning Communities that match your interests and/or major
- We’ll do our best to match you based on your preferences and availability
- Watch Your Email
- Residential Life will notify you of your acceptance into the LLC starting at the beginning of April
- Priority placement is given to applications received by January 1, 2025
Where You’ll Live: Victor E. Village – a vibrant, residence hall designed for community and collaboration comprised of single and double rooms. Unique features of Victor E. Village includes private pod-style restrooms and showers, a late-night pizza restaurant.
Important Dates & Deadlines:
- Housing Contract Opens - LLC Selections: November 11, 2025
- LLC Priority Application Deadline: January 1, 2026
- Room Assignments Announced: End of June 2026
- LLC Move-In: August 12, 2026
- Kickoff Events: August 12th & 13th, 2026
- FHSU Welcome Weekend August 14th–16, 2026
