Beach/Schmidt Movie Series
The Movies Are Coming to Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center
We're thrilled to introduce a new movie series, bringing major motion pictures to the big screen at the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center!
There's something special about experiencing a movie in a theatre, and we're excited to bring that experience to Hays. With our larger-than-life screen, impressive sound system, and comfortable theatre setting, audiences can enjoy the excitement, adventure, laughter, and magic of the movies the way they were meant to be experienced—on the big screen!
Our first two movie events are:
Project Hail Mary
Saturday, October 24 & Sunday, October 25
Showtimes: 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day
Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Saturday, November 7 & Sunday, November 8
Showtimes: 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day
Movie Ticket Prices
- $5 — FHSU Students and Children (17 & under)
- $8 — FHSU Faculty/Staff and Senior Citizens (65 & over)
- $10 — General Public
Tickets for Project Hail Mary are on sale now at the Memorial Union office and will also be available at the Beach/Schmidt box office beginning 30 minutes before each showing. Tickets for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be on-sale starting October 26th.
In addition to providing another great entertainment option for our campus and community, proceeds from the movie series will help support future live performances and special events at Beach/Schmidt PAC.
