Written by August Wilson & Directed by Lili-Anne Brown
From the writer of The Piano Lesson, Fences, and Ma Rainey’s

Pittsburgh diner owner, who must decide whether to let
the government take his building or sell it to a ruthless
businessman. This Tony-nominated play is filled with vivid
characters, joy, hope, love, and perseverance, celebrating
the spirit, laughter, and resilience of those who make our
country great.
Founded in 1972 by John Houseman and Margot Harley,
The Acting Company has performed 148 productions for
over 4 million people in 48 states and 10 countries. The
Company has provided more than 400 actors, including
