Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center
Sheridan Hall was the former home of a 2,000 seat arena in which FHSU held concerts, basketball games, and conventions. In 1987 renovation began on this landmark creating the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center, which seats 1,100. The Beach/Schmidt PAC Special Event Series brings a variety of events and movies to the Hays community. It is also the host to many Music Department concerts and recitals. The facility is available for rental to both campus and community organizations. For rental information, see "Reserving B/S PAC" tab or contact the Memorial Union.
Introducing the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center Special Events Series
Our new Special Events Series will bring a variety of entertainment to the stage, including live music, performing arts, comedy, lectures, and more. Rather than offering a traditional Encore Series season ticket, events will be announced individually, allowing us to explore exciting new programming opportunities throughout the year.
For a complete list of events see our calendar!
