Academic Dismissal
A second Academic Restriction results in Academic Dismissal from Fort Hays State University. Academic Dismissal is involuntary separation of a student from FHSU.
Academic Dismissal cannot be appealed. Any student seeking to return to FHSU after Academic Dismissal must successfully complete transferable coursework that will bring their cumulative GPA up to at least a 2.0. Official transcripts must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar for review and GPA calculation.
