Student Success & Retention offers academic support programs and peer tutoring to strengthen learning skills, personal counseling services to support individual development, testing services for the administration of national exams, and the Drug and Alcohol Wellness Network (DAWN), which focuses on the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug misuse. All services are provided at no cost, except for substance abuse evaluations and testing fees.

Gateway students are encouraged to visit Tebo Library to have on-campus access to research databases, check out books, use the computers and TigerPrint station, and use the library spaces such as the open study areas, the study and meeting rooms rooms, or the Media Lab for audio and video projects. Anyone can Ask A Librarian to get one-on-one research help to guide you how to find, use, evaluate, or cite sources – use the convenient chat feature here or call, text, email, or schedule an appointment. Gateway students who activate their TigerNetID will also have off-campus access to the library’s research databases to find peer-reviewed articles and e-books using your own device from the comfort of your home.
