Liaison Librarians
Liaison Librarians are assigned to academic departments to:
- Be a personal connection to facilitate communication and promote library services
- Develop, edit, and maintain library guides based on best practices
- Direct faculty inquiries to the appropriate library department such as collection development/management, outreach programs, and instruction sessions
- Provide assistance to faculty with library resources, facilitating research, and answering other inquiries when requested
- Assist with providing information for accreditation and new courses as needed
