Forsyth Library's exhibition program includes both site-based and online exhibitions that incorporate materials from Special Collections and the University Archives.
Main Exhibit Cases
Located in the Learning Commons on main level of Forsyth Library, the Main Exhibit Cases showcase those Special Collections' materials that may be displayed temporarily without extraordinary environmental controls. Recent staff-curated exhibits include: Before the Interstate: Traveling Two Lane Highways; Postmarked Landmarks; Memories and Memorabilia; and A Century of Little Blue Books: Celebrating the Working Man’s Library.

Special Exhibits Gallery
Located outside the University Archives on Forsyth Library's main level, the Special Exhibits Gallery showcases Special Collections' materials that demand extraordinary environmental controls. Recent staff-curated exhibits include: Die Lutherbibel, The Lovecraft Collectors' Library, and Paeans to Opportunity, Diatribes on Opportunism: Contrasting Representations in Gilded Age Literature.

Contribute and Tour
The center display case in the South Study Area features faculty and student research, if you are interested in contributing your students or your department’s scholarly and/or creative works to temporarily display, please contact Special Collections. To schedule a time to have your class guided by a librarian through the current exhibits or to schedule a time for your class to visit the Special Collections and University Archives, contact us.
Online Exhibits
